Hello All,
We are planning to upgrade SQL Server 2000(32bit) to 2005(64bit) using the backup/resore system copy.
Source:
SQL Server 2000(32bit)
NW04(Kernel for 32bit)
Target:
SQL Server 2005(64bit)
NW04(Kernel for ??)
Steps:
1.Install SQL server 2005(64bit) on the target system.
2.Backup from the source system.
3.Restore DB on the target system..
4.Install the Central instance for NW04 on the target system.
With the 4 tep, can we change the 32bit kernel to 64bit?
How do we change the 64 bit?
Regards,
Stella,
