is anyone done the MCOD upgrade for NW systems?

Hi Guys,

I want to know, is any one has went through the upgrade situation of 2 SAP system on MCOD database.

we have BI ABAP and BI Java sharing same database (MCOD) on single host and plan to upgrade from 7.01 to 7.31.

As per SAP documentation we can not perform parallel updates in MCOD systems.

But can we start the execution of the steps in parallel till the pre-processing phase and execute the downtime phase unparallel keeping it in mind there will two separate SUM dir one for ABAP and other for JAVA. Also we use nZDM methodology.
